The Nacra 4.5 offers the entry level sailor a fast and easy to sail catamaran at an affordable price. 

The Nacra 4.5 buoyancy surpasses that of other catamarans in it’s size range. Kick-up rudders make for simple beaching and shallow water sailing. A wide beam and jib blocks mounted on the front crossbar make for an uncluttered and therefore more comfortable trampoline. 

A boomless sailplan allows for easy control. The jib makes for quick tacking and manoeuvring. 

The Nacra 4.5 is offered in a variety of bright and brilliant colours. New hull and sail graphics complete the package.

The 4.5 is the synthesis of Nacra design of the past 15 years. Two years in research and development, the 4.5 is introducing many new sailors to the joys of sports cat sailing. Purpose built as an entry level catamaran, the 4.5 is chalking up an impressive performance record.

Designed primarily as a simple robust little cat, advanced hydrodynamics principles and the experience of years refinement allows the 4.5 to be the only small catamaran to be "built to survey" in Australia. This fact alone means that rental operators now have the most suitable cat ever built for them.

Featuring no boom or daggerboards, the 4.5 is easily launched, beached, uprighted and sailed by one person whilst retaining the ability to carry up to 280kg.
