The new Nacra Carbon 36 has recently been launched, the boat features full carbon hulls, rudders and daggerboards. Although we are still sailing with the old rig to evaluate the new rig configuration the boat has proven to be very fast, winning many regatta’s since its launch including First at Clipper cup Port Douglas, Magnetic island race week, and 1st place in heat at Multihull nationals.

The new carbon mast has been ordered for the boat, with new sails and will be out sailing in the new year. The boat is much lighter than other model’s made and features high aspect rudders and boards, improved winches, pod for mounting outboard and sail controls on it. We are sure once we get the new lighter mast and sails that the boat will be very hard to beat. The boat is being built into One design Form.
